Do you find yourself in a difficult season of life?
One that feels heavier than expected, harder to move through?
Uncertainty about work, a loss of direction, the end of a relationship, grief, trauma, burnout?
Perhaps you are struggling with adapting to life in The Netherlands?
At times like these, it can help to sit with someone outside your story.
A steady presence who can offer perspective, care, and guidance while you find your own way forward.

About me
My name is Daniela. I am 35 years old. I was born in Colombia, and for the past nine years I have lived in Amsterdam, a city where rain and light often blur into each other.
I began my career in marketing and later moved into tech. Over time, I found myself asking quieter questions about meaning, direction, and how I wanted to live and work. Those questions gradually led me back to a long-held wish to become a therapist.
Today, three years into my training, I work with people who find themselves in moments of change, loss, or uncertainty. I believe that each person carries their own resources for growth, and that careful listening, presence, and a safe relationship can help these become visible again.

About Gestalt
"Lose your mind and come to your senses"
-Fritz Perls
Gestalt therapy is a way of paying attention to what is happening in your life right now, in your thoughts, your feelings, your body, and your relationships. Instead of only talking about the past. We notice the present moment, because change usually begins there.
You are not treated as a problem to be fixed, but as a whole person, living in a particular world, with particular habits, pains, strengths, shadows and unfinished stories. Together, we slow things down and look at what is actually happening, often in small, ordinary moments that turn out to matter more than expected.
An important part of this work is noticing what is yours to carry and what is yours to choose. Not in a harsh or blaming way, but in a quiet, practical sense of taking responsibility for how you respond, what you avoid, and what you reach for.
From this awareness, new choices become possible. Not dramatic ones, necessarily, sometimes just quiet, practical shifts that make life feel more real, more workable, and a little lighter to carry.

Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
How many sessions do I need?
It depends on your situation and what you would like to work on. However, I usually recommend at least 10 sessions to allow time for meaningful work. The first step is to book an intake session, where we explore your needs and whether working together feels right.
How much does it cost?
A 60-minute session costs 40€. This is a reduced training fee, as I am currently studying Gestalt psychotherapy at NSG and working under supervision. Cancellation policy: Sessions cancelled less than 24 hours in advance are non-refundable.
Can I deduct the cost from the insurance?
At this time, sessions are not reimbursed by Dutch health insurance.
What is the benefit of being with a therapist under training?
Working with a therapist in training often means receiving careful, engaged, and up-to-date support. Alongside my studies at NSG, I regularly reflect on my work in supervision with experienced therapists. This offers you thoughtful care, professional oversight, and a more accessible fee.
What does supervision mean?
Supervision means that I regularly meet with a qualified, experienced therapist to reflect on my clinical work. This helps ensure that I offer the best possible support. Your privacy is always respected, and no identifying details are shared. Supervision is a standard and essential part of ethical practice.
